[edit] Mission Statement

The Microjustice Initiative aims:

to encourage the development and implementation of affordable and sustainable solutions to the problem of access to justice, for those living on the Base-of-the-Pyramid

by

Initiating and supporting projects, exchanging knowledge, experience and best practices and by establishing relationships between stakeholders globally.

[edit] Vision

Access to justice is a basic entitlement for all: If people can live in transparent, stable, and fair relationships:

  • this reduces their vulnerability,
  • includes them in society,
  • gives them access to economic and social development,
  • and a precondition for lasting peace is fulfilled.

Justice can be affordable and sustainable without subsidy; through a focus on their crucial legal needs, by building on local capabilities, making use of modern technologies, and looking for economies of scale.
